Win A LongboardLongboard Clinic is giving you the chance to win a custom made Bob Brown Longboard, and best of all, itfs free to enter. All you need to do is subscribe to In Byron Bay Today to go in the draw. Firstly letfs explore what we are putting up for grabs. Longboard Clinic is giving away a custom made hand shaped and with tint and pigmented glass, single fin nose rider. The first longboard will be drawn in April 2009. Then another will be given away anytime during the next eight months after that. We donft set dates for the draw, so itfs a good idea to read your email if you want to win. The winner of our first draw was S. McKay of Byron Bay NSW. That lucky bloke has chosen to order a 9f4h Brownie Single fin Hot Dogger and itfs not costing him a cent. But donft despair; itfs just the beginning there are more boards coming. If you are lucky enough to win, the board will be shaped to suit your weight, style and ability. Of course if youfd prefer one of Brownies glorious fishes, stumpies, discs, eggs, quads or shortboards then thatfs what you get. For the winner, your wish is our command. The Longboard Clinic team will contact the winner, interview them, and then order your new board from Bob Brown. Youfll get it custom made all the way, even right down to ordering a blank with the correct rocker for you. Brownie will shape it and sign it with your name on the blank. The shaped blank will then be couriered to the crew at North coast surfboards in Byron Bay, where it will be glassed. Theyfre the same guys responsible for those beautiful glass jobs you see on the Australian Takayamafs. While all this going on, wefll organise to have a fin foiled to suit your new board. Then Longboard Clinic will foot the bill for all this glorious Australian craftsmanship and the winner gets to ride it. All you got to do is come and pick it up, which is a pretty good excuse for a surf trip to Byron Bay wouldnft you say? Now itfs true, all that handling by different craftsmen means youfll have to wait a bit for the board. But when you put that thing in the water, youfll know why some surfers would have it no other way. So why are we doing it and whatfs the catch? Well we are doing this because we love the art of longboarding, thatfs it pure and simple, and we will be doing this regularly so stay tuned. What do we want from you? Five minutes of your time, to subscribe to our free newsletter, thatfs it. No money, no promises for future purchase commitments, just five minutes. The catch is this; to win you need to be subscribed to our In Byron Bay Today email updates. The winner will be announced in the newsletter, you will have twenty four (24) hours to contact us to claim the prize or it will go to a redraw, this will continue until the prize is drawn. The Longboard Clinic Team.
